Some weddings have a mood from the very first detail you design. Libby + Michael’s was earthy, intentional, romantic, and effortless. The ceremony was set in a meadow near the bride’s home, surrounded by old-growth PNW forest. Dark wood benches lining the aisle and moody floral arrangements tucked at the ends: dahlias, smokebush, wild grasses, things that looked like they could have grown right there. The fabric welcome banner hung on a simple wooden frame at the entrance, minimal and clean against all that wild green.

The menus were one of my favorite pieces from this whole project. Printed with an old master painting as the background, rich, textured, almost antique-feeling, with the guest’s name on a small sage label on top. Sitting on a white plate against a sage linen, they felt like something you’d want to keep. The table numbers followed the same understated approach: botanical illustration on white card, tucked into raw wood frames. Nothing competed. Everything belonged.

The circular escort card display was the piece that stopped people at the entrance: place cards arranged in a full ring around a wild floral centerpiece, each one with a small photo tucked in. This installation was unique, but with the natural wood, it perfectly tied into their wedding brand. Libby + Michael’s day was the perfect reminder of how even the smallest of details, bring your day to life.
